Frequently Asked Questions

Most frequent questions and answers

How do i know if the therapy is right for me?

People seek therapy for a multitude of reasons. It could be due to challenges in relationships, struggles at work, or issues with self-esteem. Some might be grappling with addictions, anxiety, or depression. Despite the varied reasons, a common thread among those who seek therapy is a shared experience of frustration, isolation, and uncertainty about the future.

What is your cancellation policy?

You are free to cancel or reschedule appointments provided you do so more than 24 hours in advance, without incurring any late fee. However, if an appointment is missed or canceled without a 24-hour notice, the full cost of the appointment will be charged.

How long does therapy last?

Every individual’s circumstances are unique, leading to varying durations in therapy. Some may find what they need in a single session, others in a few sessions, and some might engage in therapy for months or even years. The time required to achieve successful outcomes isn’t a one-size-fits-all scenario. Short-term treatment might suffice for some, while those with more extensive treatment goals may benefit from longer-term services. There’s no universally correct duration for therapy – it entirely depends on your specific circumstances and needs.

What is the first session like?

It’s perfectly normal to feel fear, anxiety, and anticipation before your first therapy session. We’ll start the meeting with a casual conversation, then examine the issues that concern you, discuss the reasons for seeking help and your goals. The first session is a chance to understand if we are a good fit for each other. If so, we’ll establish a comfortable pace for our therapeutic journey.

How much do sessions cost?

Subsequent sessions are 60 minutes each, costing 45 euros.

How can I prepare for my first therapy session?

There’s no need to prepare anything for your first therapy session. However, if you feel inclined, you could spend some time thinking about what you hope to achieve through therapy.
